Carlton Green, Ph.D.

Dr. Carlton E. Green is a licensed psychologist, trainer, facilitator, speaker, and consultant who seeks to engage people in identity-based conversations that lead to liberation. For more than 25 years, he established a career in higher education settings. He worked in student activities, multicultural services, residence life, academic affairs, athletics, and counseling services in public and private institutions. He is known for being both empathic and challenging in his work with individuals and groups. He understands that addressing diversity and justice issues can be emotionally challenging, and he works to ensure that all participants’ voices are heard and validated. Most importantly, he seeks to promote a strengths-based appreciation for diversity, especially among individuals who experience such issues as divisive and negative.
